Kappa Gamma Delta
Empowering Women in Healthcare

Our Purpose
Kappa Gamma Delta is a pre-health sorority at DePaul University dedicated to: assisting female college students in the pre-medical process; encouraging the development of leadership and communication skills; providing academic, social, and emotional support; promoting individuality, unity, and diversity.

Sisterhood
Supporting Each Other
Kappa Gamma Delta was first established in 1994 at UC Davis as the first pre-health sorority. The Iota chapter at DePaul University was established in 2023 as the first pre-health sorority here at DePaul. It was adopted in order to support our fellow sisters through the pre-health process and develop themselves as people in the medical world.
Professionalism
Developing Professionally
Kappa Gamma Delta has a primary focus on academics and upholds high standards for their members. We provide many opportunities for our sisters to upkeep their academics ranging from one-on-one study sessions to group study hours. Strong academics are important for graduate school, so they are important to us too!
Service
Giving Back to Humanity
As the motto of Kappa Gamma Delta states, service is of large importance to our sisterhood. We work with organizations all over the Chicagoland area to provide assistance and give back to our communities. We additionally conduct fundraisers to raise money to give back to other organizations as well. We vow to provide service to humanity.
